I have received the following sad news Dick Strahan relating to Dorothy Strahan who was Chairman of the club in the early 90's
I am afraid I am bringing some sad news. Dorothy died last evening (Wednesday 17 March 2010). That morning she had been to the hairdressers and had her hair done, she had a good but light lunch, then about teatime she started shivering violently and from then on went steadily downhill. She died in her own bed about 7 in the evening quietly and peacefully with five members of our family at her bedside. She was 90 and with me had recently celebrated our 64th wedding anniversary.
